What this website collects, why, and how to have it removed.

Who we are
CyberSmithSECURE Pvt. Ltd. (“CyberSmithSECURE”, “we”) is a company registered in India, CIN U72900MH2019PTC329641. We decide why and how the information described below is handled, which makes us the data fiduciary for it under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
This notice covers this website only. Information handled during a security engagement is governed by the contract and the non-disclosure agreement for that engagement, not by this page.
What we collect, and why
We collect only what a form asks for. There is no tracking, no profiling, and no data bought from anyone else.
Contact form
Your name, email address, and optionally your company and phone number, together with your message.
Used to answer you. Nothing else.
Under Attack form
Your name, organisation, phone number and a description of what has happened.
Used to call you back. This form is for active incidents, so it is deliberately short and is not gated behind a check.
Downloading a kit
Your name and business email address. We email a verification code to confirm the address reaches you, then send the download link.
We record the consent wording you were shown and when you agreed to it. At the point of download that wording is: “We’ll email you this document and may follow up about our services. Unsubscribe any time.”
One follow-up email is sent about a week later. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all of it immediately.
Technical records
Your IP address is held briefly so that forms cannot be submitted thousands of times. These records are deleted automatically within hours and are not linked to you.
What we do not do
This site carries no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no social media trackers. We do not sell, rent or share your information for anyone else’s marketing, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
The only cookie the site sets is for staff signing in to the admin area. Ordinary visitors are not given one.
Who else sees it
A small number of service providers help us run this site, and each sees only what it needs to do its job.
- An email delivery provider, which receives the name and address an email is being sent to.
- A network security provider, which sits in front of the site and runs the check that stops our forms being submitted automatically.
Everything else is held on infrastructure we operate ourselves, including the documents you download. None of it is on a third-party platform.
These providers act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes. We will tell you who they are if you ask. Beyond them we do not pass your information to anyone unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Rate-limiting records are deleted within hours. Verification codes expire and are removed shortly after use. Staff sign-in sessions are deleted when they expire.
Enquiries and download records are kept while there is a reason to keep them, and removed on request. If you ask us to delete something, we delete it.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, complete it if it is partial, or erase it. You may withdraw consent at any time, and you may nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to.
Ask by emailing [email protected]. We will not ask you to explain why. If you are unhappy with how we handle a request, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will remove it.
Security
Traffic to this site is encrypted. Access to the systems behind it is restricted to named staff, protected by two-factor authentication, and logged.
Changes
If this notice changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects you, tell you directly.
